It's THE Bridge!

I'm from MI, living in the SF Bay Area now. I love telling people that Mighty Mac is like the Golden gate... except 17,000 feet longer! In all seriousness, it's a beautiful piece of engineering art.

Been across it a number of times. Mostly in the Summer when weather was good. But it can get scary in late October, November. (think Edmund Fitzgerald).

Funny that the only car to get blown off it was a Yugo, that I am aware of.

Some guy did drive his full size Bronco off it a few years later. They are pretty sure he did that on purpose because of gambling debts and other personal problems. The Yugo definitely went off because of wind.
